3. Data erasure and storage period

2. Legal basis for data processing
The legal basis for the temporary storage of personal data and log files is Article 6 para.1 f) of the GDPR (see III. 2.).
3. Purpose of data processing
The temporary storage of data in log files is imperative to ensure the permanent functioning of the IT systems and website technology, as well as to ensure IT security. It is also necessary to display the website correctly and enable its optimisation. This therefore constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6 para. 1 f) of the GDPR. The data collected in this context will not be used for marketing purposes.
4. Duration of storage
Saved log files shall be deleted after 30 days at the latest, unless there are statutory storage requirements.

VI. Newsletter
1. Description and scope of the data processing
Goldene Generation gives you the option of subscribing to its newsletter. The following technically required data entered by you on the login screen and for registration is transmitted to Goldene Generation:
- Salutation
- Optional: Title
- First name
- Surname
- Optional: Company
- Email address
- IP address of the accessing computer
- Date and time of request
The newsletter sent by Goldene Generation contains so-called tracking pixels. A graphic image is inserted into the email newsletter in HTML format to allow a statistical evaluation of newsletter campaigns. By using tracking pixels, Goldene Generation can see if and when emails are opened and whether the links are clicked.
To subscribe to our newsletter, we use the double opt-in procedure. After subscribing, an email is sent to the email address provided containing a confirmation link to receive the newsletter.
2. Legal basis for data processing
The legal basis for processing your data for the purpose of sending the newsletter and use of tracking pixels is the provision of consent pursuant to Article 6 para. 1 a) of the GDPR (see III. 2.).
3. Purpose of data processing
Goldene Generation regularly notifies interested parties of its latest offers by newsletter. The data provided by you for this purpose is exclusively processed for providing and tailoring this newsletter to your requirements. We only require other data about you for the subscription to prevent any misuse of the newsletter offers and particularly of your email address. A statistical evaluation of newsletter emails is carried out to optimise the newsletter content.
4. Duration of storage
The data required for sending the newsletter is only stored while you are subscribed to the newsletter.
5. Opt-out
You can revoke your consent to receive the newsletter and the associated use of tracking pixels at any time. You can opt-out by clicking on the link provided in each newsletter or by sending an email to info@goldene-generation.de.
VII. Customer contact
When you send us an email, call us or contact us via any other method, we use your data exclusively for the purpose of processing your demand and any associated communication. The legal basis of data processing depends on the content of your message. We have a basic legal interest in making contact with our customers or interested parties via email, telephone and post as well as answering enquiries (Article 6 paragraph 1 letter f GDPR). If your enquiry concerns the conclusion of an agreement with us, data processing takes place within the scope of this pre-contractual obligation (Article 6 para. 1 lit. b of the GDPR). Data processing may also take place to fulfil a legal obligation (Article 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR). VIII. Recipients of personal data
In selected cases only, personal data are passed on to external service providers. These were carefully selected by Goldene Generation and were commissioned being bound by instructions. Your personal data are always stored in the EU and managed in accordance with our privacy policy and the GDPR, unless otherwise stated in this privacy policy. Goldene Generation GmbH uses website analysis services on the basis of consent pursuant to Article 6 para. 1 sentence 1 a) GDPR. These services ensure a needs-based design and the ongoing optimisation of our website. We use Hotjar in order to get a deeper understanding of our users’ needs and to optimise the content of this website. With the aid of Hotjar technologies we get a better understanding of our users‘ experiences (e.g. how much time they spend on certain subpages, which links they click, their likes and dislikes etc.) which helps us to adjust our offer to the user feedback. Hotjar is working with cookies and other technologies that aim at collecting information about user behaviour and their devices (especially IP adresses - which are gathered in anonymous form only - screen sizes, unique device identifiers, browser information, country, preferred website language).
